"Cousins' was way better than it had any right to be. Yes, this is a basic motel, but it's a cut above the chains. Convenient location, affordable, and nice rooms with refrigerator, microwave, comfortable beds. The little things they chose made a big difference to our family road trip vacation: Comfy beds, quality coffee in the lobby refreshed throughout the day (and cookies, if you like that!). "Very unique. It's a step back in time. Don't expect modern resort but you will get friendly authentic service provided by local people who bend over backwards to fulfill your needs and interests. Dufur is a very small old rural historical town in, what some would call, the middle of nowhere.
