"When our initial room didn't have much of a window, the staff was very helpful and quickly switched us to an available room with a balcony for a nominal fee. The place has a cool retro beach-motel vibe, which some may enjoy more than others but we liked. Despite the meh weather, the attached pub was pretty lively for dinner with a nice outside seating area and I'm sure that during the summer the whole place and attached small beach are very lively. "The hotel is beautiful and the staff were excellent. We checked in around 8pm to just stay the night, we weren’t related to any of the big events going on at the hotel. Unfortunately, we were placed in a room on the second floor, very close to the large event. We could hear the music thumping all night.
