"Our stay was extremely disappointing and far below the standard we expect from Marriott. The room was outdated, had a strong musty smell, and the hotel appeared run-down. Of the three elevators, only one worked, resulting in long waits throughout our stay. We were also concerned about cleanliness. "If an IKEA opened a beach motel it would look like the Surfside! Room was bare, cool and clean. The entire place (rooms and common areas) have the same flooring that was sticky no matter where you walk. If they un-sticky the floors this place is a cute little 10/10. The rest of it was really clean. People were really friendly, location is great."
