"This motel is on the main road (US-60 or Ash Street) but was quiet during the holiday period. It is ideally situated near Hill Street, which goes into the historic district less than a mile away. Fast food is nearby, as is hiking at Round Mountain Park. El Rey is a self-described "vintage motor court" so looks the part outside. But the interior room was large enough, the bed mostly comfortable, the spacious shower always had hot water, and the wall heater worked well, with the usual humming....

"This is a lovely hotel Staff were very helpful, pleasant and friendly Spotlessly clean, inside and out Quite isolated spot if you have no car but good accessiblity to other routes - minutes from Freeway 60 Beautiful scenery (superstition Mountains)"
