"The Glen Club is always my go to hotel when staying near Chicago. I love its more private location because it feels like a quiet retreat away from the city. Every time we have stayed there it has been peaceful, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. With only 21 rooms, the boutique atmosphere makes it feel even more exclusive and relaxing. The hotel is consistently spotless, beautifully updated, and very well maintained, and the onsite restaurant is excellent. The only things I would love to see...

"Ok for the price but looks a bit runned down. My room didn’t have hot water so I had to bathe with a cold wet towel"

"Avoid. Marginally clean. Tub was gross. I did not feel comfortable taking a shower. Lamps that were supposed to have 2 light bulbs had only 1. No Kleenex supplied in room. Remote control on TV did not work. Had to go to the desk 4 times before someone came to the room and figured it out. Outside stairs are treacherous. The railings are at least 6" too low. You have to be in a bent over position to hold the railing."

"This hotel is convenient when trying to save some money! But the hotel needs renovations asap! Seen a couple holes and paint coming off the walls , the bathrooms are very small but very convenient and near a lot of food places. The staff was helpful as well"

"This property I would never go back to you. Smoking up by a false salon. Fire. 7:30 in the morning. We were told we could not have any towels. There was only two in the room for four people. The cleaning Lady would only clean after we left. When we asked her to clean our room. After the first day. She said no. There’s a big hole in the wall on the outside and on the inside. Very poor neighborhood. I would’ve rated a zero if I could."

"SO happy I discovered Staybridge! There are several options in the area that may seem the same on the surface. Staybridge stands out for its warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s polished, tasteful, clean. The staff are pleasant and helpful. A free breakfast buffet is always a bonus and it’s a decent offering - but breakfast isn’t my thing, so I’m not expecting much. For me, it’s in the details of the room. Everything you need in all the right places with working tech - which is a rare find!"

"We love this hotel and visit it as much as we can. When we go during the week we find it very quiet which is one the reasons we go. The room is always perfect and comfortable. The housekeepers will always accommodate you if you need something extra. We love the staff and since we go there so often they have become “friends”. "The rooms are infested with ants in the bathrooms and some in the front of the hotel. No microwaves and they dont have a phone number thay works so you can call the front desk. Thats not professional at all. I recommend only staying here if you have no choice. They went inside my room before checkout just because they didn't see me. Not professional at all.
