The icing on the cake was a delicious Yorkshire Brack cake waiting for us on our arrival and to top it all Rachael made us a cake half way through our visit. The accommodation was excellent. "The most dog friendly place we have been to & yet we left our dog behind - huge error! The most friendly staff, comfortable, homely surroundings, excellent breakfasts and very good cuisine generally. Super location. Just the most relaxing few days where you can do as much or as little as you want. Friendly guests too! Will definitely be going back. Thanks to everyone at the Inn on the Moor."

"A nice place in a great location just a 5 minute walk from Grosmont Station. Its not a modern hotel, and rooms are not soundproofed so you can expect to overhear other guests coming and going. The showers are difficult to set to the right heat and are affected by other people using water. A bit of modernisation would help. Decor in room dated and could do with refreshing but otherwise, a nice friendly place to spend a few nights. "

"The property is really nicely done up and the folk who run it are charming. The local shops (within 50 yards) are superb and we enjoyed getting bread and meat from them for going home! The local pub was an excellent place to dine!"
