"This is a great budget hotel for the price. Note you pay for food and drink at 1st world hotel prices, so plan accordingly. Housekeeping is extra and upon request. However, it has the best view of the Spinx and pyramids and the gate to the Giza complex is a short 5-minute walk through child hawkers selling Knick knacks and tour touters selling packages. Everyone is trying to sell you something so prepare yourself for that too. Ask the hotel manager Ahmed to make some tour arrangements for you but go to GetYourGuide first to get a sense of the prices. We had a great guide through the hotel, Islam, very knowledgeable and charismatic. He’s well travelled too so can draw lots of comparisons for you. We went to the bazaar in old Cairo and then to the Grand Museum. Timed everything well. The hotel itself is very clean but the street itself has camels going up and down all day and there is a couple local butchers nearby with live chickens. Remember you’re not in Kansas anymore! Meat doesn’t come on styrofoam trays and camels are live animals! Go to the main street to find sodas and snacks. The seller next door to the hotel has steep foreigner prices. Regarding some of the lower ratings you will find on the hotel, I think people had some unrealistic expectations for a budget travel hotel. It’s clean, safe, and the AC works fantastic. But manage your expectations for the price you pay, be realistic. And smile at the staff, they are kind people. "

"I had an amazing time and excellent service hear being so close to the pyramids was beautiful. Although very busy area it was a great stay. I would only recommend to stay around this area if you want to see the pyramids and sphinx however not any longer than a couple of days as the area is not yet properly developed. We went to Luxor after Cairo. "

You dont need to find tour guides the hotel can provide you and tour family with everything you could possibly want or need. The owner is amazing, I felt like i stayed with family. Please dont waste time with other hotels in the area this is the only one you will want to stay at."

"My wife and I arrived at the Jasmine Pyramid Hotel at 03:00 in the morning. The hotel itself is a small boutique hotel in a quadrangle with the Exotic Pyramid. We were met by a young man named Ahmed (big shout out!) who could not have made us feel more genuinely welcome. The room was the cheapest offered, but comfortable and adequate for our needs. The next morning we were met by the reception team who showed us the pools, breakfast restaurant and roof restaurant. The reception team always stand to greet you with a smile and offer their support. They were able to help us book a private tour of Cairo which was excellent. The hotel has both an indoor pool with bar and an outdoor pool. There is a rooftop restaurant with a perfect view of the pyramids (linked, but paid separately) and a partnership with a local Spa called Dr Sphinx. There is also a supermarket about 1 mile away. (EGP 66 by Uber). Breakfast is included in the low price and provides both European and Egyptian food. Boutique hotels make every guest feel special and welcome. The Jasmine Pyramid staff accomplish this perfectly. I am writing this review from my next hotel of our trip and I miss the Jasmine Pyramid Hotel and staff already.
