"Perfect place to stay while in El Nido. Pool area is amazing, room had everything I needed, and the complimentary shuttles made getting around a breeze."
"We stayed at Ahana Resort for four nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff were very attentive and truly focused on meeting guests’ needs, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The only suggestion I would make is to have a small fridge in the room to keep drinks cool. Other than that, everything was great and we really appreciated the warm hospitality."
"I don't usually write negative reviews but I had to with this hostel. First off, the staff were great, no complaints there.
I never stayed in the dorm area as they were all booked so no comment there. I had a loft style room. The stairs up to it were very steep. I can see someone falling on the way down if they've had a few too many.
One of the steps was very rotted out and felt like it may give way any day.
I get we are in a somewhat remote area of Palawan but the power and wifi kept going off. With no cell coverage, kind of a bummer when trying to arrange your flights etc.
My last gripe was their food menu. Everytime I wanted to order anything, "Sorry sir we are all out" The amount of times I heard this for myself and other guests. Whoever is in charge of the food inventory needs to do better. You can walk to any other place on the beach and they have everything available on their menu.
I would stay here again but would have lower expectations for certain things. "
"Seda Lio is a great hotel, right off the beach and close to a lot of beach shops and food. Staff were good. There was no wifi in our room as it kept saying the server had too many users on it which was unfortunate. We also had to ask the hotel staff to change our sheets upon check in as the sheets had some hairs and were a bit sandy. They did happily send someone to change them right away. Otherwise the room was nice and big, nice view of the pool area. Breakfast was decent.
General note - bring bug spray as there are a lot of 'nik nils' which are tiny bugs that bite in the beach areas - common in Palawan."
"It was such a great experience, from the communal type of living, the super friendly staff and the pristine location. We had an exceptional experience and would highly recommend"
"Love, love it! Everything was excellent. The place was majestic, staff were so polite, accommodating and ready to help when you needed. Food and drinks were delicious and affordable. Room was so clean, comfortable and big. Thumbs up for everything! We're already planning our return. "
"The staff was very accomodating with our requests and informative with activities we can do around the resort. The place was very quiet and was able to provide me with a much needed break from a busy life. The views were amazing.
All in all, it was an amazing experience made easier by their staff.
As this is an "off-grid" stay out in the outbacks of Palawan, a bit of dust and dirt everywhere is expected. But the staff made efforts to provide us with anything we needed to stay comfortable. "
"We had a lovely time at Bahala Na Villas. All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating.. breakfast was great ..Villa was spotless. It was so nice to have a private driver to take us around wherever we wanted to go and the High Speed private island hopping tour was awesome!"
