"I loved staying here! The villa is stunning and the pool was amazing. The staff were wonderful and super helpful and were always there when I needed something. They had rental bikes which made it easy to get around the island. Gili air is such a beautiful and unique place to stay. The only thing is the music from the mosque is pretty loud at 5am and would wake me up every morning. However it just made it easier to get up early and go watch the sunrise. "Koho has the potential to be an excellent hotel, though sadly they seem distracted: they’ve opened a new spa, added rooms?! and seem more focused on all this than the guest experience. They had a photographer staying, models or even the dreaded “influencers” and it was all a bit weird. Deluxe studio was good, with a large bed and decent bathroom (didn’t like how bright the air-con dials made the room at night, mind) but it was also next to the bar, where they chop ice before 7am, sweep outside...

"Room was comfortable. However the room was located next to the gate entry and not as quiet as I would have liked. The staff were extremely friendly, accommodating, helpful and responsive. In addition staff were happy, attentive and appreciative. Enjoyed adult only atmosphere! "
