Eliros Mare Beachfront Poem Hotel

"Crete is full of hidden gems and The Eliros Mare is definitely one of them. We had an absolutely wonderful holiday at this hotel. We think it’s the perfect balance of not too small but not too big either. The service is wonderful and the staff genuinely care and do their very best. They are also very good at remembering your preferences such as where you like to sit. We are never usually a fan of buffets for evening dinner but this one we visited many times as it was excellent. A huge range of quality fresh food. The hotel also allowed you to swap dinner for lunch if you were half bored which was great. We enjoyed the flexibility. The breakfast was equally great and the lunch. There were lovely gardens with beautiful flowers around the hotel. The beach was exceptionally lovely with plenty of chairs and parasols and the bar nearby. It was a very peaceful place to relax. We didn’t use the pool but it looked lovely. I also had a wonderful Massage We enjoyed many evenings sitting on the terrace and the hotel is very well located to visit other areas. We highly recommend this wonderful hotel if you want rest and relaxation as well as some good days out in Crete. Thank you."

"Nice accommodation right on the beach. Room had good WiFi and was very comfortable. Great spot. About 5-10 minutes walk to the town of Georgioupolis. Unfortunately for us we had terrible weather for the 2 days we were there ( part of the time torrential rain) For this reason don’t think we can evaluate the hotel very well."

"Everything at this property was amazing. What was exceptional was the front desk, and everyone from the barman to the janitor and cleaning staff. Everyone was very warm and welcoming. The property is on the beach and very well situated. You are minutes drive from many sites. Would definitely recommend this property."

"Great room, amenities and food. The property is not brand new but it was very well maintained and everything was clean and in excellent condition. The pools were all very clean and well maintained, the beach was incredible and the food was excellent. Great location and you must go check out the lake which was 5 mins away. Excellent resort for a family with children."

"Lovely room and pool. Location is very convenient as there are many shops and restaurants around the corner, as well as the beach. Room was spotless every day, fresh towels and sheets after each clean. Staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back. The only con to this hotel is the hair dryer. If you have thick, low-porosity hair, it will not work. I’d suggest bringing your own."

"Fabulous location , set in its own grounds so very relaxed . Stella is simply the most wonderful host , very kind , very friendly and very helpful. Our room was and remained spotless , whilst the property is maybe no new , it’s impossible to age as everything was immaculate . Great aircon and decent shower. The pool was brilliant such a tranquil spot . We loved our stay at Reina . Thanks Stella . "
