"This was one of the absolute best experiences I’ve had staying in a hotel going to a conference! The room was spotless. The bed was fantastic. I would recommend best western in York beyond any other and would rank it up even above a hotel that cost twice or more the amount! I told the staff that I came up there to complain. He asked what about? I told him I came down to complain and my complaint is I couldn’t find anything to complain about!"

"The check in staff was friendly and the price was reasonable, but the condition of the room was disappointing. There were hairs in the tub and on the bathroom floor. Pretty clean aside from that, but our room had a broken recliner in it, and the mattresses were poor quality."

"They made a good effort to remodel. Not my taste. The continental breakfast was really bad. No reasonable person would ever stay there twice. The white bread only option was after toasting was so tough, not eatable - The jelly packets were solid from age. Could not dig them out. The selection of food. Poor. The one cup pour coffee maker made instant coffee. "

"The staff was friendly when we checked in. Sadly, the beds were very uncomfortable, we found the prior occupants used soaps in the shower. The pool was closed for maintenance which is understandable, however it was still full and filmy looking. The breakfast had decent options but the orange juice was discolored, the apple juice was flavorless, and the bread and bagles were rock hard. We lucked out woth the waffle maker. We stayed here to save a few dollars since it was only a place to sleep, but you definitely get less than what you pay for."
