It was overall a very good trip the room was very clean...check in was very quick and easy... everything in the room was fully functioning aside from the phone but we didn't really need it...I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fair priced motel

Hidden gem

The staff is super nice, friendly, very helpful answering our questions. The property is very clean, nice and safe. I loved the room, everything was clean, comfortable, working properly, love the hot tub, after a day of hiking it was perfect for our legs. We will definitely be back. Thank you to the check in staff.

Comfort at a great price

A convenient location in Gatlinburg withing walking distance to attractions and food. A little dated on the outside, but the inside was clean and looked recently updated. Comfy bed and pillows.

My only suggestion would be to put a bigger sign more noticable for check in we had to ask someone and others later asked us where the office for check in was . Other than that definitely had a wonderful restful stay

Dont let the outside fool you

The outside made us alittle nervous and you have to drive around to a differenty property to check in. However the room was spotless, bed was comfy and the size was good. I do suggest adding some type of traction to the ramps leading to the second floor. Its slick in the rain and steep.

It was not bad until the couple 2 doors down started arguing at 1am and continued until we decieded to bail out at 6am. They were still arguing and drinking on the balcony as we pulled away. Great place to stop and sleep after a day of hiking probably when the adults behave as adults. 🙄

This was a great last minute option for my stay in TN. I do wish for future tenants that the owners realize they need to specify that both carrs and country town are now under the same ownership somewhere on the directions to the office, thus both offices are combined on the carrs property. We walked around for 15 min on the country town property trying to figure out where the office was before having to call for clearer instructions.

The office is very hard to find, it’s all the way around the left side of the building about half a mile down below carr’s cabins which is also their property. Rooms are clean, would have been a lot better if others staying in hotel had been quiet. Mattress was a little uncomfortable although for the price you get what you pay for. We would still go back to stay again if we go back to that area. Very nice location not to close to the main strip. But within walking distance also pancake house right across the road was very nice. And a bbq place & Mexican restaurant.

If you're looking for a motel, this is for you! The only good thing about our room was the jacuzzi tub. The TV didn't work. The wifi was weak. The sink didn't drain well. When using the sink, the drain would back up and hair would come up with it. The bathroom/shower had hair (not from someone's head) on the floor and in the shower.
