My wife and I had a very comfortable stay. It was the perfect place to spend time with family and relax. The area is gorgeous to walk and really take in the sights. Clean and cozy with spectacular views! What more can you ask for?! Oh, yeah, breakfast was also included. Boom!!!

We stayed at this property two years ago and couldn't wait to get back. We had a lovely room with a nice large patio facing Lake Garda. The place was spotless, the staff and owners (a husband and wife) impeccable. Excellent breakfast included and the dinner was one of the best of our trip. Situated on the west bank of the lake it is an easy drive or ferry to the many surrounding attractions such as Limone and Sirmione but best of all for us was the quiet lake front location of this property and the excellent selection of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance.

I was there solo for a wedding at a nearby hotel. If you’re looking for a serene and scenic getaway with old-world charm and warm hospitality, then Gardone Riviera is the perfect choice. Breakfast on the lakefront terrace of the Hotel du Lac each morning was a wonderful.

The hotel was very smart and very clean. The staff were fabulous, very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were included and had alot of choice. The restaurant had a varied menu and very good quality. Hotel was located on the lake front which gave superb views and was right next to where the ferries came in to transport us to the north and south of the lake. There is also use of a pool, which is lovely. I would highly recommend the hotel and location.

A great hotel in a beautiful part of the world, the staff were great and the correspondence before we arrived was excellent. The resort of Gardone is very quiet but we had a hire car which made traveling between towns perfect.

My family and I couldn't have been more pleased with Hotel du Lac. The property is bright, roomy, sunny and SPOTLESS! Our rooms were comfortable and faced the lake. The location was wonderful: Gardone is one of the quieter towns on the lake, and we appreciated the serenity. The onsite restaurant is excellent as is the service. We stayed for 8 nights and will look back on our stay fondly. It was so nice to have breakfast facing the lake--and my son went back for seconds and thirds as the breakfast offerings were varied and all very good. However, what really makes Hotel du Lac stand out is the family ownership and the wonderful staff. Martina is kind, helpful and vivacious. She helped us figure out what to do on a day tha we feared might be rainy. Anyway, it's a three star hotel that feels more like four. Go for it. You'll love it.

What a perfect hotel! Superb location right on the lake front where you can have beakfast, dinner or a cocktail with the stunning view of the lake right in front of you. So incredibly relaxing and tranquil. The hotel staff are all excellant and very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean with large comfortable beds. Not a sound with the French doors to the lake closed and tje comfort of air conditiining. The breakfast was a wonderful selection and it was just wonderful to eat outside listening to the waves lapping. The restaurant food was superb with very attentive service by people who clearly love their work. Gardone Riviera is the quieter of the lake's towns and so is a tranquil oasis from which to visit by boat the busier lake towns. The hotel offers delicious alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails which we thoroughly enjoyed and with the lake right in front of us - absolute perfection.

The magnificent lake views from our room and balcony and the excellent included breakfast makes this hotel excellent value. The nearby ferry station and bus stops provide transport options around the lake and to nearby towns such as Brescia.
