"The location is spectacular. It's a perfect place to get away from it all. We were in an older room in the smaller building. The room is run down and in need of updating. I suspect we were there because we brought dogs. So as long as you get the right room this is a great hotel in a spectacular location."

The rooms were spacious but a bit musty and quite worn. But it’s half a block to the main street so overall it’s a good choice if you don’t mind the thin walls and shag carpeting."

"The process of checking in after Expedia was a major hassle involving uploading personal photos etc and since the location is out of most phone signal range it is impossible to get the codes for room entry at the point they suggest. I had to help a couple who could not get in and nobody was answering the phones. This is a very nice well kept place in a great location but the check in process is a disaster."
