"My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Cavarchino. Our room was impeccably clean, comfortable, and had a lovely view of the Tuscan hills out the window. The bed was very comfortable. The whole property and residence has a peaceful and calm feel to it. The breakfast and coffee were tasty. We enjoyed biking while in the area and wine tasting. Would love to come back during a season when the pool is open! "

While we were very excited to arrive, we were quickly let down once we realized what we expected to get with our stay was not possible. We booked Via Hotels.com and were told we would have a room with Air Conditioning as well as laundry services on site. When given our rooms, we were met with the lack of AC and 2 fans to “help”. "We enjoyed staying in a castle that was built in 780 A.D. It is amazing that the owners/operators provide you with all modern amenities in such an old castle. The drive to the castle is a bit of a challenge (sharp turns and the steepness of the road). The staff is friendly and very helpful."
