He was so personable and helpful. He was so attentive my car battery died and he helped me jump the car arrange alternative rides and even checked in on me to make sure I was safe . The only minus was the tablecloths in the restaurant ,.. they were really really filthy … that should not reflect on...

"Would have given more stars, everything was great except for two areas. First, the food is very basic, but we had heard that and there is great dining nearby. However, we were there for two nights and NEVER received maid service, even after going to the office (across the street btw) THREE times and repeatedly being promised service. Also, parking is very limited. Great location and cute property. "

"Tried to contact hotel by phone three times and once by email prior to our arrival to let them know we were getting in late. No answer or response at all. Showed up to no one working and apparently one person was responsible for 4 hotels and helped us checkin to a room that was dirty, had no trash can or soap, the shower was moldy, the sheets were like toilet paper and towels like t-shirts. The morning breakfast is cereal and starts at 730am so no coffee until then as there was no coffee...

"Property location is fabulous. Hotel sits right on the beach and the noise from the surf fills the air. Because there are a lot of rocks, it's not an undulating surf, it's loud and it's constant. "The room and linens were clean. There is a quiet policy in place starting at 9pm which is nice. In the room we were in, I personally would like to have smaller furniture, the furniture seemed too big for the space making it more compact than it needed to be. I would also recommend a sheer curtin behind the black out so that you can open the curtains to let in natural light wirhout feeling like a peep show. "It is very bizarre to have the Palmoro House building so far away yet associated with the Mar Monte Hotel. Room was great and fine, just very odd to have the association between the two hotels. If you don't mind the distance from the check in building then this will work for you. The parking lot for Palmoro is incredibly hard to navigate when there are many SUVs in it. It seems like one row of parking should be eliminated, as we watched a few close calls from our balcony. Otherwise we did enjoy...
