"To be clear, I base this on the north american standards I am used to. The front desk staff was not very welcoming or friendly, however check in was fairly quick. The code for the internet was posted on a sign at the front desk and when i asked about it, he said to take a picture. The internet only worked in the lobby or the bar...not in the rooms. We went to order a pizza and were told we cant place a call from our room. They did dial the number from the front desk for us. The pool and outside bar area were lovely!! Nice to sit up there and have a drink in the warm air. There is a $46 charge on my credit card (on top of the room charge) that might be some sort of tourist tax??? I have no clue as it was not explained. The room was clean and functional and we were only there one night so it suited our needs. It is dated and felt cramped, but we did have a small table and chairs that we appreciated. I felt the price we paid was too high for what we got, but again, used to hotels in Canada and the US."
"Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was a little firm and lotion in the bathroom would've been a nice amenity. The staff were always very attentive, helpful and friendly. Included breakfast and dinner made this stay an excellent value and food was tasty with much variety. The layout and greenery on the grounds give it a warm, welcoming and relaxing vibe. The compound is also quiet and this contributed to a relaxed atmosphere for vacationing"
"The entire staff was absolutely wonderful along with the view from the pool and room. The overall property needs to be updated and refreshed. Pool area, restaurants or lack of and room were tired. It does not look like the photos. The rug in the bedroom was so dirty with stains, we wore our shoes in the room. Also, it’s a far drive from everything and requires cabs back and forth. We stayed at Eden Rock last trip which was sold out and advised from friends for Christopher. If you are going to spend the money going to St Barths choose another resort for the total experience. "
"The service was excellent - especially the concierge. The staff was friendly and always accommodating. The hotel was beautiful; room was spotless and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast thoroughly! Would recommend to everyone! "
