Don't hesitate to get your reservation in place because you'll have a great time at La Playa. The location is amazing, with the beach being just steps away from comfortable accommodations. The staff is friendly, the bar at the beach was outstanding, and the morning breakfasts were a great way to start our days.

La Playa is a beautiful beach front resort on the French side of St Maarten. Our second time here and love it. The resort is great , Elena, GP, Alexandra and the rest of the staff are very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast is included and lots of options to choose from. Highly recommend for a relaxing get away on a beautiful beach and Island.

Hotel itself was nice and clean, great location right on the beach. We liked the kitchinette with the fridge, had an issue with staff not providing coffee capsules daily, as they should. There was a lot of sea weed, sargassum, on the beach and in the water which wasn't cleaned every day.

My wife and I have travelled a great deal. We spent 6 days at La Playa - I am not sure they could have been any better. From easy, friendly check-in, amazing beach with lots of chairs and umbrellas, a FANTASTIC breakfast, and a great bar/wonderful lunch choices...and right next door to amazing restaurants and a grocery store. This place is a 10. Katy runs an amazing property and we can't wait to go back.

The hotel location is excellent to walk everywhere - beach, restaurants, shops. The staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable, especially Elena. The room was spacious, clean and had everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. The breakfast is improved from last year and has more options to choose from. The restaurant staff could improve in greeting clients and restaurant cleanness.

Very good location. Good access to restaurants for dinner and beach bars for lunch. Breakfast was fine. Rooms are clean. Water is not drinkable and sometimes smells. Property is very strict, only 1 espresso pod per person per night. Only one beach towel and it needs to be exchanged via towel card. Also no outside food or drinks on the beach chairs. The ocean view rooms, ocean view is marjinal.
