"Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was wonderful. Room was comfortable and unique. It was very quiet and relaxing stay. Over all a very beautiful place to stay, we would highly recommend. Wasn't a problem for us but it might be for some. Room doors are old European style doors and do not seal very good. Large opening around the bottoms, which could let in small critters. The doors let out a lot of AC in summer and I would imagine heat during the winter. "

"Rose Hill Retreat is an absolutely beautiful location with great staff and lovely rooms. We stayed in the Sunrise room in the main building which has its own separate sun room with day bed and balcony. "This is a very unique B&B. I loved the grounds. It was very peaceful and staff was very helpful and down to earth. They have lots of farm animals which I thought was a neat touch to see them. "The rustic atmosphere and decor was delightful but this is not a bed and breakfast. There is no real breakfast except for a box of pastries and four coffee pods that we used up day one and had to wait until day four to be replenished. So bring your own breakfast fixings. "The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. "Not a fan, wouldn't stay again. Stayed in the Alden Haus, suite 2. Room was clean, bed was pretty comfortable, bring a fan or something for sound because it is eerily quite at night plus you can hear the people in the other room (we could even hear them use the bathroom). They need better curtains, if your light is on when it's dark congrats everyone can see clear into your room! Hot tub area needs to be cleaned, I get it's an closed in area outside but it wouldn't hurt to dust or sweep it out...
