My room was on the top floor, but still a lot of traffic noise. Most nice hotels I have stayed at provide complimentary water. This one did not.

The property was located for tours of Iguaçú Falls and the Itaipú Dam, as well as for a quick jaunt into Paraguay (City of the East). The hotel facilities were good (restaurant, gym, kid area) and the staff was very helpful accommodating all of our needs, such as arranging for a driver for the entire evening we arrived.

I was excited to be back at this hotel, as I had fond memories of a great stay in a spacious suite in a new structure back in 2018. Unfortunately this was not the case. We were placed in an unclean room when requested an early (paid) check in, which was rectified within a few hours. Room keys had issues and we got locked out of our room multiple times. Some of the male front desk staff felt they had to mansplain a lot to me (a middle age woman traveling with older teenage children). The location of the hotel is good, though, and the breakfast is excellent. There is secure parking with a valet. This is an OK option for this area of Foz do Iguaçu.

The room I got from this “4🌟hotel” was demage, the main door locker was broken and left hanging on the door by one scroll, the body wash dispenser was broke and left on the window, the kitchen blind was broke what makes difficult open to get sunlight. The AC wasn’t work property and outside was 40° Celsius. I took pictures and I asked the front desk receptionist. He told me that the hotel was full and he wasn’t able to give me a different room. So why charged me a full price when they can’t give me what I paid for it? I have pics of all this issues I mentioned.

The hotel is a bit outdated. Everything kind of works but not great. For example, the WiFi is spotty and the elevators are slow.

Gym was not great. Safe in the room did not work and was not fixed even after requesting to be fized. Elevators are very slow.

Check in was too long. We had to fill out everyone information on a piece of paper. Seems like is too old school. Property is more like a 3 star. We booked 3 rooms and everyone was in a different floor. We had kids and was very difficult. When I asked they told me that the hotel was sold out. We booked the trip over 2 months in advance and they could've plan better.

An excellent hotel
This is a very nice hotel. Clean, spacious with excellent staff like Peter. Breakfast is great with varieties. Although there was a problem of car key access, it was fixed quickly. Highly recommended.

The hotel room was adequate. All of the room lighting (except bedside lamps) were cool colored lighting. This is very unpleasant lighting. The eggs served in the buffet are terrible and seem to be made from a mix and not actually eggs. There are barking dogs in the neighboring favela houses that bark 24 hours a day and can be heard at the 17th floor. The pillows on the bed were one hard one and one soft one, both too thin. This is a decent hotel, but definitely not a 4 star hotel.

We were travelling with another couple. Arrived late in the evening and were greeted by Eder, the front desk staff who checked us in. What a great and hospitable receptionist. Fantastic breakfast, clean rooms. Fabulous views from the rooms, great tips re sightseeing. All in all a great experience and fantastic value for the dollar.
