"Had a great stay here. Easy check in. Room was on the far side of the hotel so a few little stairs but that was fine. Room was as expected. A little dated but I've come to expect that. The swimming pool was great, good temperature. The sauna was also a lovely plus. There is a male one in the changing rooms and a female one in theirs respectively. "We used to stay here many years back when visiting relatives in the area. Now it has turned into a Spa Resort, great for those who like and want to be pampered, no problems there, but we did find the restaurants evening menu is now very restricted for choice., plus there was always cold blasts of air, making it very uncomfortable to dine. Back in the day the then Ostler restaurant was far superior"
