Fort Oglethorpe Hotels with Swimming Pool

"I checked in at 3 AM with my three boys, exhausted and just hoping to get some rest, only to walk into our room and find a cockroach. Completely unacceptable, especially when traveling with kids. To make matters worse, Expedia is refusing to refund my money until they speak with a manager—but the manager won’t take any calls. So we’re stuck dealing with a disgusting situation and zero support. Save yourself the stress and stay far away from this property."

"The room I booked (deluxe suite with double queen beds in a separate bedroom and sofa sleeper in rhe living room) wasn't available although the desk attendant said the computer said the room should be available, but he couldn't figure out exactly which room number it was, so they put us in a different room. That room was dirty. I pulled out the sofa sleeper and the mattress cover was yellow and dirty and the sofa sleeper mattress had urine stains on the underside. And there was a ziploc bag with a used bar of soap under the cushions. We requested a new room. This room was a little cleaner, but still dirty (sofa sleeper in the same condition as the previous room) and even smaller than the previous room. At this point, we tried one more time to get a new room that was at least as big as the 1st one we had, but cleaner. They let us take a look at another room, but that sofa sleeper had some kind of clear crystal (looked like glass at first) under the mattress cover. After this we requested a refund and spent hours trying to book a room at another nearby hotel. The cleaning staff needs to be trained to clean ALL the linen and places even the sofa sleeper whether or not they believe it was used or not."

"Hallway smelled like cigarettes but didn't see any indicators of someone actually smoking. Room clean and didn't have this smell. "

"It was ok. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. Although if you don’t put up a do not disturb sign they will come in your room. Pool is smaller than it looks in the photos which makes a family pretty much be able to take over the whole area. Worst continental breakfast iv ever had. Not really close to anything either. It’s not bad but for the price I’d stay somewhere else."

"Beautiful, historic hotel that is very convenient to many attractions. The indoor pool is great for kids and having a Starbucks in the hotel was a plus. "

"Our stay was great! Very clean room and whole property was well kept. Security code for entering the building! Area behind the building was fenced in and had a pickleball court, 2 ping pong tables, 4 sets of corn hole boards. Grills and fire pits availability also! Wonder place with kitchenette and a Kroger within walking distance. 10 minute drive to Honky Tonk Highway and Predators game!"
