"The bar staff need some serious training, terrible service on Saturday evening , staff looked like university students clueless and zero customer service The room was ok, lots of fluff and dust under the bed, no I didn't deliberately check, I dropped something and saw it, the shower cubicle needs a good scrub too! And no fridge in the room!"

"The hotel it self is well located. Close to the Gunwharf Quays and in walking distance from the train station and the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. The staff was really friendly. Especially when I asked how to get to the D-Day Museum. Breakfast was well stocked with the basics. The I would say is the rooms could use an upgard. But if you are looking for a well located hotel. This is for you."

"Undergoing renovations during my stay so have to reserve judgement a bit. Room was clean and comfortable and small things do matter. Hot chocolate and biscuits were a much appreciated extra that I wasn’t expecting. WiFi worked fine for me and breakfast was good. "

"Everything is excellent! The room is beautifully equipped, with superbly comfortable bed, brilliant shower, decent size bath and good Wi-fi. All staff in the pub were friendly and served us with good humour at breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food was brilliant (we ate there every night). Location was just what we were after, small village with no shops, but easy driving distance from larger centres. Plenty of walking trails nearby. Highly recommended."

"The location is great the bathroom to our room was up some stairs from the bedroom the door opened out towards the stairs covering the handrail so could be a problem for some coming down the stairs from the bathroom. The bedroom was also up flights of stairs The mattress needs to go in the bin now! "I had a wonderful stay at this hotel with my family. The property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The amenities were excellent, we especially enjoyed the pool, sauna, and gym, all of which were in great condition.
