"Our room was fine and the bed was comfortable. Since it's a historic inn, we knew not to expect modern amenities such as mini-fridge or coffee pot. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom. The closet was huge which would be more useful for stays longer than our single night. Breakfast in the Beauclaire restaurant was tasty. We plan to return to Mt. Dora and will stay at the Lakeside Inn again."

"Pleasant experience from front desk greeting to check out. ALL staff acknowledged guests and had smiles. Calypso was typical pricing for on site dining and food was delicious! Even the staff there (close to closing time) was so happy to help and serve. Room was immaculate, decor a little dated. Cannot beat the area and price was great! I almost felt like I was waiting for something to go awry…but never did! 10/10 would recommend and will stay again. My daughter and husband wanted to come stay another weekend just for leisure….! We stayed for a softbal tournament. 😁"
