The only thing that I would recommend is that the gym facility does not have any disinfection wipes for the patrons. There should be wipes/spray readily available so the equipment can be cleaned.

As a budget priced facility, I have to give credit to Hilton for putting together a pleasant experience. Unfortunately the building is in a sketchy area of Fort Lauderdale and I was accosted by drug addicted homeless people immediately as I exited my car at the entrance. Not the fault of the facility, but people should be conscious of their surroundings while getting in and out of their vehicle. Once inside, the staff and facility are well run for the price.

Excellent lobby area and spacious cafe with awesome complimentary breakfast. Also great little cafe on a higher floor. Some activities available some days. Check with front desk. Pay for parking garage around the corner. Connects to hotel. Area unsafe for walking after dark.

We arrived two hours before check in and asked to do laundry but we're incorrectly told we didn't need a key card. I approached check in at 4pm and was given a room however when I arrived it was still being cleaned meaning I needed to wait 20 minutes. I went down to reception to explain my delay in picking up my parcels only to met by a manager who tried to blame housekeeping and refused to address my complaint with a formal response. Expedia and Chewy from the hotel were helpful. We felt unsafe at the bus station behind the hotel. Finally you can't connect your laptop to the TV.

All was great except the shower was not cleaned at all. There was evidence of dirt and hairs on the walls and floor of the shower. I mentioned to the staff but nothing was done. Everything else was terrific.

This hotel is in new built building with relatively new and well maintained facilities. You can easily walk from the hotel to downtown attractions. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The staff was very friendly! Down the street though, around the bus terminal there are a lot of homeless people unfortunately and some locals warned us to avoid that area. Other than taking some short detours, its great!

Tru by Hilton
The hotel was good, the pool and fitness center were very nice, beds were comfortable and I really liked the eco-friendly soap and shampoo dispensers. Only negative was the bar restaurant food, that was awful. The complimentary breakfast on the otherhand was the best ever.

Only 1 car can park at main entry. Told to go to pkg garage-NO luggage trolley in garage. We were a little early - no room available except for “hearing” room. The room had obviously not be cleaned in a while. Debris in floor and bottoms of feet filthy from floor. Upon opening bed late that night, it looked like the sheets weren’t changed just top comforter pulled up. We slept on top of comforter. Since we were there for a family emergency we did not have time to change hotels or rooms without major time constraint. Will never stay at a TRU again.

The hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport, which was perfect for me. The common area are well kept and the rooms are decent. The location of the hotel is conveniently located near downtown which is plus. Due to limited staffing (which is no fault to the hotel) and quality of customer service is the reason why I gave the hotel a 4 store not a 5. I had called for room service and I was met a disgusting attitude about how I couldn’t placed my order over the phone and how I needed to go to the bar to get myself. Getting my order wasn’t a problem, my concern was that I had called a few seconds earlier and forgot to add something to my order and the previous front desk clerk transferred me; however, I was told something.

When we arrived for check-in (after 4pm) our room was not ready. We didn’t get to the room till 515. The room is tiny. No place for storage of your luggage. No closets. There is a sign to put your luggage under the bed, however that area will only fit a small carry on. The bed frame also is about 2-3 inches outside of the bed. So I hit my shin more than once on the frame. There is no bathtub only walk in shower. The AC is on the window but the controls are on the wall. Lowest it goes is 68 and it didn’t work well. If you walk towards downtown on the street next to the hotel it didn’t feel very safe. Many unhoused along the street. However if you go one more street down it was much safer and there is a market (Publix) on that street. The breakfast was well stocked, bacon sausage, eggs, pancakes, waffles, breads. This is a short walk from the Brightline. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this property for families with baggage but maybe a couple for a quick stay before/ after using the brightline.

A lillte dissapoint
The room was clean and the breakfast execellent. My dissapoint was that the room is clean every other day instead of daily. Is the first time that I stay in hotel with this rule.
