Property was great. Allowed early and late checkout but with added price. Only neg was i saw a roach on the last morning there. Other than that. Placed looked very clean. Would stay again.

The hotel was charming. Felt like i stepped back into time to the 1950s. The room was very comfortable and the pool and bar were fabulous.

This is a hidden gem. Great property, reasonable rates, the staff and service are excellent. Only 1 block from the beach with a beautiful pool and bar. We keep coming back!

We stayed here for a one-night stay prior to departing for a cruise. The price and location can't be beat - 1 block from public beach access, about a 20 min walk to the more developed area (it was Spring Break, so we did NOT want to be near that area), and plenty of small, independent restaurants, a bakery, pop up shops and food truck, etc. within a couple block walk. The property has "sister properties" that allow you access to their other pools (some have hot tubs) which was fun to explore a bit. The property is a bit dated and the rooms are sparsely furnished (which was fine for a short stay), but it has a cool, laid back retro feel. Small things like the sink missing the aerator (so the water shot out all over you if you turn it on full), no deadbolt on the door (but does have keycard electronic lock), and a loud air conditioner. Also note that the property is pretty spread out and on 3 levels at some locations, but no elevator. So lugging 2 large suitcases up 2 flights of stairs was a challenge. We ate at the pool bar area which made fantastic drinks and the food was good as well. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. All that said, with some minor room updates (and requesting to be on the first floor), we would definitely return for a short stay.

Not only a decent price but great location , you can use other sister property facilities in the area, Barry one of their pools and food was so good!! Really cute property , though it may look like a motel on the outside but inside the rooms are very chic and cute , I traveled by myself so I had the smaller room but it was nice , shower is pretty big and staff was really nice! Definitely recommend!

Room was very dirty and old. 2 windows had no blinds so had to stack pillows and blankets for privacy. Water was brown tinted so used bottled water to brush my teeth. Thankfully it was just for 1 night.

The Palms is close to a State park & historic homes & just a block or two from the beach. Our room was very minimal and needed another chair, small table or desk & reading light to make it comfortable. Staff was pleasant.

Friendly staff and on-site place to eat with decent food and drinks. Room was clean although it had a strong smell of moisture. Walls to get to the room could use some paint touch-ups and walkway a pressure wash. I also noticed some deferred maintenance in the bathroom. Wonderful location near the beach with pleanty of eateries. Location also seemed safe.

We stayed 4 nights 5 days at this property and the staff were welcoming, warm, and friendly. The pool area was secluded and a great spot to spend the afternoons after the beach. I would definitely recommend and stay again !

This property is run down, stinks like black mold. There are NO safety locks on the doors, so if you have kids they can just open the door and walk out. My 1 year old was able to open the door and we had no way to secure it except barricading the door with our suitcases. The walls are warped and look’s like water damage. The bed was not comfortable and pillows stink and are flat. You can hear everything outside your bedroom as people walk by and party. The curtains do not block out the light especially in the morning it’s very bright. The window unit kicked on and off every 3 minutes which was annoying. NO ELEVATORS so you have to carry your luggage up 3 flights of stairs. We had to park very far away from our room due to limited parking The gate that’s supposed to secure the property was left open broke all night long The floors in the room had crumbs and greasy feeling The blanket was just a sheet that looked 100 years old.

It’s nice place and quiet. Also only 5 minutes walking distance to the beach. We just stayed one night. Didn’t have any problem during stay at all. Staff I was nice but not always available. We got confused when we got there because nobody were in the office and it locked them figured out that we need to ring the bell to get the stuff come to check us in. Room were pretty good and clean. Beds were comfortable but bathroom is so tiny. Pool closed at 8 and parking fee is $10 a day which not very bad but will be cool if fee has included in the hotel rates.

Friendly staff. Quiet property given the busy location (not near the loud bars further down A1A). Parking was very easy and convenient. Nice dining options in walking distance. One block off the beach, easy. For the price point this is hard to beat.

Royal Palms is always a nice place to stay. Far enough removed from the chaos of the strip, but very easy to walk to. Friendly staff, great area. Short walk to the beach, and they have nice pools, close to great restaurants also.

We chose a very quiet room. Unfortunately, it did not have a phone and the key rarely worked. So, we used our cell phones to call for assistance with the lock. Since the lobby is only manned about 2 hrs. a day, we were usually talking to an answering service somewhere in So. Florida. When we did have someone at the front desk they were very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and the local of the resort is excellent. Too bad the owners don't care to pay for people to man the front desk and provide phones in the rooms.

Front staff were very friendly when checking in. The room was simple but clean and the area was quiet. We liked the location and its vicinity to places such as the beach and Las Olas Blvd. The only slight mishap was when we tried to book a couples massage (which they advertise on their website) and they stated they could not provide it. We understood but a massage at the spa was one of the reasons we chose this location so it was a little annoying. However we found a great massage place nearby and the hotel associated village bakery was fantastic. We would consider staying here again
