0 stars if possible ! I am extremely disappointed with both Expedia and the rental property I booked through them.
From the moment I arrived, the hot water and shower were not functioning properly. I had no choice but to take cold showers for four days, which completely ruined my stay. This is basic accommodation hygiene — hot water is not a luxury, it’s a necessity.
To make matters worse, there was no reception, no front desk, and no on-site staff to assist. Getting help was nearly impossible. When I contacted Expedia, they completely washed their hands of the situation and told me there was nothing they could do — that it was entirely up to the rental property to resolve. That is unacceptable. I booked and paid through Expedia, so I expected some level of customer support and accountability.
Instead, I was left frustrated, uncomfortable, and unsupported.
I would strongly caution others before booking this property or relying on Expedia to step in when something goes wrong. Extremely poor experience from start to finish
