"We were on the top (15th) floor and the views were amazing but the windows were high off the floor so you have to stand to appreciate them. The famous Luis I bridge is adjacent to the property which is great but even tho the windows are double paned, you can hear the rumble of the trains. We think they are meant to restock water and evening chocolates nightly but we only received service one night. Their breakfast buffet is fantastic. Their staff are very friendly. You can't beat the location with easy access to both levels of Gaia and Porto. Overall it was wonderful and we would stay here again."

"This hotel, and my stay in it, felt like a dream the whole time. The location is phenomenal - incredibly central to everywhere a tourist would like to visit. The hotel is exquisite - the decor and ambiance was so beautiful, including the lovely scent infused throughout the building. My room was so charming, quiet and comfortable. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable and we were provided one memory foam style pillow and one soft one per guest (4 total for a Queen bed). Breakfast was good, served in a charming and quiet dining area. Last but certainly not least, the front desk staff are the best I've ever come across anywhere in the world. Paolo and a lady colleague completing the check in/out were remarkable and made such a difference to an already wonderful stay - they were warm, friendly, polite, helpful and very thoughtful. I am already planning my next trip to Porto so I can stay at this amazing hotel again."

Parking is free and easy access if traveling with a car and the train station is a short walk down the road although we found using uber was about the same price to get into city. Highly recommend hotel especially as driving into Porto is a nightmare."
