"Thought I was stopping at a bar at first but the staff was great and pointed out the lodge rooms behind the bar/ restaurant on a slight hill with a nice view overlooking the bay. The rooms are stylish, clean, very comfortable, and the bed was great! I arrived in the sun but it rained after that so I couldnt take advantage of the great deck outside of every room. The rooms are angled to ensure privacy for guests. The restaurant had great food and some of the property's cider was provided to try in the fridge in the room and it was quite tasty.great location for hikes and to try other cafes if so desired."

"River , mountain and bay views on 3 sides. Easy access to Cygnet, other bays, Beautiful countryside and farms, Huon valley and Bruny Island. Observation of birds and animals around the garden. Warm wood fire. Easy access to owner if required. Layout of the house. Very relaxing, comfortable, quiet. Well equipped kitchen. Ability to meander along the foreshore."

"Amazing venue not far from Hobart. Stayed 2 nights and as it was not very busy upgraded our room. Fireplace to have a drink beside and breakfast was good. Definitely worth a visit "
