The location was really convenient. But we didn’t have great service and the shower and sink obviously hadn’t been cleaned. I would recommend this place only if you have a great deal.

Bed was comfy, choice of pillows. Breakfast was limited. Close to the station, but a little way out from the centre. Plenty of walking involved as Florence is a walking city.

Owner/receptionist was very friendly, helpful, and responsive. There were very loud residents the first night but I sent the hotel a message through Expedia, and it was taken care of right away. Breakfast was a nice surprise! The owner made us fresh cappuccino which was wonderful and so convenient to enjoy breakfast at our hotel. The room was small but clean, private bathroom in our room, hotel was in a good, easy to find location. It was about 20 min walk to Accademia and the Duomo, and 10 min taxi ride to the train station. I would definitely return again!

Location was great. Secure building. The room was clean, the bed and pillows comfortable. The buffet was enough to get you started for the day. A peaceful place to come back to at the end of the day from a busy, noisy city.

Lovely stay, our hosts were helpful and friendly. Guided us to good route of city in our limited time in Florence. Nice room and balcony. Fairly quite for a busy city. Great take away pizza place near by. Breakfast was filling and full of choice. Highly recommend

The ladies that run this place are very organized and it made for an easy check in process. The night before, they emailed us our own access code with which to gain entry to the building and their b&b area. This meant that we could arrive whenever was convenient for us. The hosts were kind, and the place was clean. We were happy with our stay there, and would go again.

IF THIS BNB IS AVAILABLE WHEN IN FLORENCE, BOOK IT
Was originally in Florence for 3 days, but decided to stay longer. I wish I had found this place for my entire stay rather than the last 2 days. 15 minute easy walk from Florence’s main train station, Santa Maria Novella. Probably a 20 minute walk if carrying luggage. 15minute walk to the Duomo tourist area. Room well set up and more modern than the standard hotel rooms I’ve been in so far in Italy. Would definitely recommend it and stay here if I returned to Florence. I felt perfectly safe as a female solo traveller.

Good location for getting to tourist attractions and main station. Easy check in process and ladies very welcoming. Twin room bit smaller than expected but as it was only a base to sleep it was absolutely fine. Would’ve felt confined without the balcony though so pleased I booked that option. Outside furniture a bit rickety so probably time for some new outside tables & chairs. Had expected duvets as in room description but found sheets & blankets instead. Not a major problem though. Also pillows very thick & firm which I couldn’t use to sleep with as it made my head too high so I ended up using a folded hand towel and nightshirt as a pillow!

Lovely quiet b&b. Lucia and Lilliana were excellent hosts, friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast- including super coffee. We paid a small amount more for a room with a balcony- worth every penny- sitting out drinking the local wine. Highly recommended.

Very nice experience
Great room, even had a small balcony with a table and chairs. Everything was very clean, the breakfast was great and the ladies were very nice as to prepare us coffee every morning. The location is also very good, close to the city centre. Overall a very nice experience.

Amazing place with a balcony and soft beds! A little far from the main train station but close enough to a T1 (streetcar) station. Really helpful staff who even asked me if I wanted fresh squeezed OJ for breakfast! Bathroom is clean and water pressure is strong and was hot. Took us 25 mins to walk back from downtown after buses stopped so it is far but not entirely un-walkable.

It's a B&B
Picked hotel due to center of city location as I had to make quick trip to US Embassy in Florence. Price was right but nothing told me it was a B&B until I arrived. Since I was traveling during the day and the hotel sent me check in instructions by email, I didn't see them. I had to call their number and they walked me through the keypad code to get in as no one was there at night. If this isn't to your liking, then avoid. Small place (only 6 rooms I could see) but ours had a nice balcony looking onto an interior courtyard. All in all, fine. Breakfast the next morning was a buffet and adequate.

The location is great! Only 10 to 15 munutes walk to where the tours begin, and to the center of Florence. The check in was very easy and the same for the check out.

We had a very pleasant stay at Residenza Betta. I can tell they pay attention to feedback and reviews and adjust accordingly. We had a problem with our shower and they fixed it in no time when they were at the residence. The location was great for the price, about a 10 minute walk to the city center. The room was spacious. Check in and check out was easy. We didn't have any breakfast so there is no opinion there. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend it to a friend.

The hotel was situated on a quiet street and was a 10 minutes walk to the centre. We had a minor issue which was dealt with very quickly by the understanding staff. Overall a very comfortable hotel with a pleasant character. Thank you for the help provided.

We were traveling around Italy and needed to return to Firenze for one night so that we could take the plane from the airport home. This B&B was clean, with a comfy bed, great shower, and great wifi. The owners reached out to us because we would arrive after reception closed, & made sure we could still get into our room seamlessly. The breakfast is quite vast and the balcony view at breakfast was my favorite. The neighborhood is a bit far from city center--but ok for us since we did not have time. There are restaurants nearby.

I would only recommend to a friend if they were looking for a less expensive location that requires a lot of walking to get to prime attractions in Florence. The room was clean and provided the basic needs. The two woman that run the facility are good but it is outdated.

A Charming B&B. Lovely hosts!
Our room was clean and comfortable and centrally located within walking distance of Firenze SMN station. We checked in after 1pm on our day of arrival and were too late to meet our hostesses in person, but they had been in constant contact with us by email to make sure that we knew where we were going and could gain access to the building. The breakfast is a bargain at €4 each and it was a joy to start our days on the balcony in the Tuscan sunshine. The pizzeria just down the road is brilliant and if they're not quite open yet, there's a great place just at the crossroads where you can grab a beer and watch life go by while you wait. If I ever come back to Florence, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you, lovely ladies! Your friends from the Isle of Man xxx

I was there only one night. I was concerned that I might miss the ladies because my train was late (they leave at 1 pm)but they waited for me. One of the ladies came in earlier so I could have breakfast before I went to the airport. Nice choices for breakfast.

Very Nice B&B, great hosts & breakfast
Hosts Liliana and Donatella are friendly and helpful. Room was clean although non-smoking room had some evidence of tobacco smoking at some point in the past. This was not a problem since we could open windows for fresh air. It is an older building, very good location, great hosts, wonderful breakfast served with care. Wifi signal and speed could be improved, but ut worked. Recommend!

Nice small hotel, rooms were cleaned every day and the owners very friendly. Breakfast was continental plus cereal and toast, and there was enough of it - you can't expect to get the same range as in a large hotel. It's an easy half hour walk from the city centre and you have to climb a couple of flights of stairs. The water for the shower was hot, clean towels and shampoo and soap was provided. There was some noise from the road and people coming and going but not much really. I would go back.

Not What We Expected
Water leaking in the walls, damp/musty smell in stair well (no elevator). Electrical went out, which stopped the electric toilet "insinkerator" which backed up the toilet into the shower. Breakfast was good, but small. Hosts were very helpful with directions and other recommendations.

good quiet location
easy to find and only 15-20 min walk from the station. The owners were fantastic, good email contact about checking in and also left us a tray of breakfast in our room when we were away earlier in the morning. Room was basic but clean and all you needed really, lovely little balcony too. Note there are several flights of steps to the entrance which I hadn't realised and could be an issue to anyone with mobility problems as you have to carry your bags up although they very kindly carried my mum's down when we were leaving. Good breakfast choices and owners were happy to make fresh coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice and constantly topped up the selection on offer.

We are sorry for the damp wall in the stairwell. We had a problem with the neighbor, now we just have to wait for the wall to dry again for the new painting
