Great location, convenient and walkable to many main attractions. Room and bathroom were both spacious and beautiful. Very quiet, we didn’t hear any outside noise or traffic. Breakfast was well worth it. Would definitely stay again!

What a hidden gem. Absolutely charming, extremely clean, I did arrive late at night and it was very easy to access my room after the reception was closed. The room had every amenity and it was absolutely lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

This property is unique in that the "hotel" is one floor of the building and the rest are residence. Its nice in that is older well constructed look with wood floors, marble, etc. The room was clean but they had a mosquito issue that was quite bothersome. We were there for only one evening. The person working there - was the only one - was nice, helpful but seemed a bit overwhelmed. Overall, it was fine nothing bad, but nothing to write home about.

Staff was excellent, room was clean and nice. It was quiet street from square . We liked it , however there is tiny elevator only 2 people can fit in it and otherwise you have to take really steep step for 4 flight of stairs, so if you are not good shape or you don’t want to take a stairs, you might consider other hotels.

This hotel is well located for a visit to Florence. Large rooms, a wonderful bathtub (what's not to like!) and a nice breakfast. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Some notes; although it wasn't a major drama, something was wrong with the airconditioning in our room so rather than be able to control it from inside our room they had to override it at the front desk. This was a bit of a hassle but it all worked out. Also, although it was nice to have an American outlet in the bathroom, it didn't work. None of this detracted from the quality of our stay, hence the 5-star rating, they were just notable items. I'd definitely stay here again.

A small but beautiful room in a historic building. The staff were exceptional with arranging taxis. dinner reservations and just general knowledge. They really strove to help us in every way.

Great location and nice staff but mouldy shower
The staff were great and very friendly and the room generally was modern and clean. Breakfast was also fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed the location as it was a short walk to most attractions. What really let it down was the black mould on the bathroom on the grout, silicon and metal. The bathroom smelt disgusting and we had to have the door closed the whole time. The shower was a dreadful experience and my partner normally showers every morning as well as every night but went with nightly instead to avoid the shower as much as she could. The hotel staff were aware of the mould and said it takes a while to clean because of the sauna function of the shower. If it’s that much of an issue I would remove that function and retile in large format tiles instead of small tiles. It was a real health issue to be trapped in a shower with mould everywhere. The smell was also meant to be a pressure issue with the river which seemed strange. I also need to sleep with a window open or I find it hard to sleep. The aircon had a setting where it doesn’t work if a window is open. So I chose to sweat it out and lay on top of the sheets to sleep so I had fresh air rather than aircon. The staff kindly as a good will gesture covered the city tax because of our experience. Exit mould and properly cleaning the shower during our 3 night stay would’ve been better. The cleaners attempted to clean it every day apparently but nothing changed. I was happy to leave and I wouldn’t stay again

Excellent location and stay in Florence. My husband and I stayed in the tower suite and the view was unbelievable. There is a long spiral staircase with many stairs to get to the tower view so keep that in mind if you are considering that room. Overall, our room was beautiful and clean. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here on the last day of our two weeks in Italy and loved it. The cool quiet space was a wonderful reprieve from the heat and it is right in the heart of the old city so there is so much to see within steps of the front door. The building itself is really interesting and has been updated with all the latest comforts. Wish we had spent more time here!

Perfect spot! If you want to be right in the middle of all the tourist attractions/locations, this is the spot. We were at most 15 min walking distance to all the major attractions that Florence has to offer. High recommend. The staff and hotel are great!

This place is gorgeous and the staff so helpful. I loved it and would definitely stay here again when in Florence. Music in the breakfast room and scents from the shop downstairs 'Acqua Flor' are amazing touches.

This is a beautiful and charming boutique hotel. Our room was huge and beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, on a quiet street, but close to lots of restaurants and other attractions. We especially loved breakfast on the rooftop and the lovely interior courtyard at the entrance. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

What a lovely hotel—beautiful structure and furnishings, with comfortable beds and strong (and consistent) AC and wifi. The staff is also charming and helpful, and the daily breakfast was delicious (and served on the bar terrace, if desired, which was a beautiful way to start the day). I highly recommend reserving the tower suite, because the 360° view is simply stunning. Excellent location, too—easy walk to all of the city center.

The hotel was gorgeous, on the second floor of a renaissance palazzo. The rooms were large and clean. The staff was helpful and kind. I traveled with a friend with celiac disease and the staff was very attentive!

I loved everything about this hotel! The location is very central and easy to get to from the train station. We were greeted by a very kind and helpful gentleman and who I assume was his teenage son? They were so accommodating and warm. The breakfast was included and it was fabulous! I just wish we spent more time here. The day we checked out we interacted with Francesca and I can’t say enough good things about staying here. If you’re debating whether or not to stay here, come for the hospitality alone! Thank you all for a wonderful time!

We stayed here for a special anniversary. We stayed it a suite with its own tower. The room was very comfortable and the views from the tower were lovely but people should be aware the tower room is reached by a very long and narrow staircase not suitable for anyone who suffers from claustrophobia . The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was delicious, would definitely stay again.
