This hotel is great for its location and the front clerks were very friendly and helpful especially the gentlemen than worked in the evenings. He was very helpful. Thank you. My only complain for the hotel is that it smells weird inside. Because it is such an old building more attention should be given to its maintenance. The breakfast however was spectacular.

Friendly staff, nice, clean, simple rooms with high ceilings and stable wifi. Everything you need at a reasonable price in a great location. The place was much better than I had anticipated! The helpful, kind front desk staff was refreshing and appreciated.

The family room is great. It was nice to not worry about breakfast as it was provided with our stay. The hotel dogs were a hit with my children! The hotel front desk people were always so helpful whether looking for a restaurant or coordinating our checkout for our train.

Good size, but not great value for money
Lovely big room but very old heating. Radiator dripped all night, as the area is silent it woke me up at 2am and it was so annoying it was impossible to get back to sleep. Breakfast wasn't out on time and was pretty substandard when it was (powder/packet eggs and only one other hot food item, tinned fruit). Overall not worth the €100 or so for a king room - stay closer to town in a boutique place for a better experience.

Room was small. Fine for a short stay.
Check in was easy. Service was very good. The room was clean. The free breakfast was good and plentiful. The room I stayed in was very small and it could use remodeling. My daughter and I were traveling together and the distance between the bottom of the bed and the wall with the tv was so small we couldn’t pass at the same time. The room would have been fine for one person on a short stay. I think they may be remodeling some rooms. The morning that we left the room next to ours was being renovated.

Not great.
Bitten by mosquitos. Spent the rest of my vacation itching bites all over my and my wife’s bodies. No AC at all. Not as advertised. Parking and getting to the hotel is not very well communicated.

Had big luggage so glad there was a lift. Front desk staff very nice every fine and very helpful. Very clean room and walking distance to everything.

Lovely Place.
Great Hotel with a very boutique feel. Classic structure (some Victorian and Classic Euro architecture that has been restored. Service is great - 4/5. The Condition isn't like what you would find in Downton London or NYC, but for the price point, I am certainly not complaining. The only caveat to this is that its certainly a walk to the center of Florence (so beware if you have knee problems or walking problems). However, it was fine with me as I considered that extra exercise. If I return to florence, I am 100% certain that I will stay here.

Great location
Great location. Staff was nice, the room was comfortable but the bathroom seem that need it an upgrade. At least is was bigger than some other bathrooms in Europe. breakfast was good too.

Ok for the price. Wifi did not work had to use my own. One of the power outlets was not working and the shower did not have a door or cover to stop water from coming outside, always had to clean when taking the shower. Location was perfect and bedroom was clean and spacious.

Great location
Location is close to everything and easy to get to by public transportation. Carla was amazing she was friendly and kind to us. The next day we has an early train at 7am to pisa so we would have to miss breakfast when we returned the door was still open amd cookies were out we thought we could help ourselves to being screamed at by one of the staff in front of other guest. Later that night i asked a Russian lady for advice and she was too aggressive and seemed like she didn't want to bother helping us. Even till our check out carla and the night man was our best experience in customer service. Overall the room was beautiful best in Italy so far from our tour of italy and best breakfast selection. The other staff were pleseant and one man that works during the breakfast I'm not sure if he is phillipino but he was very hard working and kind. Overall great place to stay.
