Other guests spotted whales and dolphins right at front side of property. I and my wife enjoyed our stay. "Cool little hotel room. Nice view on the fjord. Check in was easy, a bit odd that there is no one at reception on checkout. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is in a good spot in town, although it’s a pretty small town so I guess anywhere would be ok. One thing to note- some websites say the exhibition is included with the hotel stay. That’s not true, it’s like a 10% discount. Also parking is a bit of an issue so if you have mobility problems might not be a good spot for you."

"Superb service. They went out of their way to help us out on couple of occasions. All other stays on our trip, no one else had a TV, this one had a TV, fridge, microwave in the room. Jonas, the manager walked around the breakfast area and was engaging with all the patrons. The room it self does need a makeover and the management knows that as Jonas himself confided they will be remodeling next year."

The lights didn’t work well in our room, the switches wouldn’t work sometimes or if they did they would shut off all the lights or one of them but it always seemed like a different light.
