"The stay was great the apartment is very spacious and there are 2 bathrooms and 1 extra toilet for the 2 bedrooms. We did find that the cutlery was being taken by the cleaning staff each day instead of being cleaned and left there it was not being replaced. Even when we asked for it we didnt get much back just a couple of spoons as communication was an issue aswell. Generally the staff were very friendly and accommodating and the hotels lobby was kept pristine and clean. It wasn't made clear on the listing that we had access to a washing machine in the apartment (which didnt work properly as you couldn't press the buttons) and an iron and ironing board. We expected to pay £40 when we reached on check in as this was what was told to us by hotels.com but the hotel informed us that this charge was wrong and for a 2 bedroom apartment its actually an extra £80 that is owed. This is a tourism tax that was charged by the country to tourists. The breakfast was a nice selection but this did not change much during our 10 night stay. The location is in the old part of Dubai, it is a nice atmosphere and generally there are discounts shops walking distance and a metro line across the road. This hotel is connected to Al Ghurair mall which also has a nice selection of shops and a supermarket. We used a taxi majority of our stay as for 5 people it worked out cheaper than the public transport."
