"We chose this hotel due to the closer access to the sounds but ended up falling in love with Te Anau! You have to visit the Redcliff restaurant if you stay here. The apartment we stayed in was huge, I never knew how much I needed a LayZ boy chair until I stayed here. The towels were big and fluffy, unlike anywhere else we stayed during the three weeks. The lady on the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. I just wish we’d stayed longer, two nights wasn’t enough. Views of the lake were great. We spoke with other guests who also loved their stay. Only downside would be no washing facilities in room but there is a laundry room on site."

"As usual the staff and hotel were awesome especially as the power in Te Anau had been off for over 24hrsdue to the storms and just came back on as we arrived. They were fantastic under pressure. A+++ to all at the hotel."

"The whole south side of the south island lost power, but these guys set up a generator to provide hot showers, and wifi was on before the power was. They have a full range of amenities, and let me upgrade easily when I realized I didn't have my own bathroom. Right across from the lake, and 20 minutes from a hiking trail through the rain forest"
