I couldnt believe this was an all inclusive! Super comfortable stay, delicious food, beautiful beach and pool, clean, and most of the staff was very friendly and helpful! An excellent value for all that you get.

The room, pool area and service were all excellent. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, we liked the layout of the pool and beach area as you didn’t feel there were lots of people around. The staff were very attentive in all aspects of the hotel. The restaurants were good and overall we enjoyed the food and we also like the cocktail bar and other bar areas of an evening. We hired a car for a couple of days and explored the area - some places worth visiting are: - Babadag cable cars - Kayakoy - Saklikent National Park

Such an amazing experience - from the staff service, to the room to the food. Everything was truly 5 star. The pool is so unique in that it runs throughout the resort and breaks up the spaces so you can have privacy. Beach was rocky so we ended up staying at the po. All restaurants are al-la-carte so you get the full dining experience. Impeccable food! We spent 2 nights 3 days here - wish we had stayed longer. Highly recommend to those looking for a quiet and luxurious holiday.

We had a wonderful time here at the resort. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful to everyone. Our room was in an exceptional condition, large size with balcony and jacuzzi inside it. Very clean property with multiple nice restaurants which served a good quality of food, dessert and drinks. Easy check in and check out. Bars are serving very good cocktails. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend it to everyone who is looking for Quality of services. I am giving 5 stars to this extraordinary resort.

Good facility but poor service

Perfect location and facility for relaxing ezcept couple of points. Food quality is avarage and far below the expectation. They have couple of alacart restaurant which you need to reserve - if you dont stay longer than 4 days at this hotel - there is no point to even try to reserve something. They are always fully booked so i see the point. Same thing with the Gabana's on the beach - always fully booked.

We had the best time at Akra, the pool is amazing and the staff always friendly and food options seemed to be endless. Definitely loved being at The Residence but still having access to the other part of the resort as well. Highly recommend this property

The locals know this hotel as “Barut”, so when you jump in a Taxi tell them Barut hotel. We stayed for three days and our experience was amazing. Room was fantastic, very clean, with jetted tub inside. Rom service is great. They clean the room daily and provide any service that you ask for. So many food and drink options. Services at the beach. Bar at the pool Had a maxing service as well. I can’t think of any area for improvement . Worths every penny

Go for it. All you want in a luxurious hotel

The hotel is secluded, nothing of a walking distance around it. They have a shuttle boat to take you to 3 different markets but that’s it. We stayed four nights in the hotel and we were not bored. They have activities (live band, Tennis, ping pong). Total of 5 free restaurants but you have to book in the restaurants way in advance. We couldn’t enjoy the Turkish or the Asian restaurants. The food is delicious, and fancy for an all inclusive hotel. It felt like we were in 7 star restaurants all the time. The pool is huge and there is a bar inside it. The quality of the drinks and snacks in the mini bar is excellent and there is no limit on what to eat/drink. Room was clean and big. Adults only. Private beach. Love this hotel.

This property is a scam. Driving up there was so much construction with dirt roads we thought we came to the wrong place. Then they recommended we book adults only hotel for $100 more because it was supposedly better. It was not. The whole place is a scam. The beach was dirty, completely dirty, I would not swim in that water. The resort itself barely had anything nice, even the grass was patchy/yellow. For entertainment they had jazz night and everyone was forced to sit there and watch that.

This hotel is one of the best in Turkey, we have just spent a great week at The Residence. The hotel itself is immaculately clean inside and out. Staff are all very friendly and could not do enough for us. Food is served to you rather than buffet style and always a very good quality with a lot to choose from. Cocktails at the pool are very good with a wide selection of drinks available. We had a massage at the spa which was very relaxing. We also hired one of the cabanas on the beach which was great for the price, highly recommended. Unfortunately, we must knock a star off for the problem we encountered towards the end of the holiday, there was some sort of photo/video shoot going on around the hotel (we assumed for a promotional video) which meant drones were flying around the pool area for most of the day. One did crash when it hit a tree next to us which nearly hit us whilst sunbathing. This did continue even after this incident, so it forced us to go inside as it wasn’t very relaxing with the fear of being hit and the noise from the drone itself. We also had to move to the sister hotel next door as the residence closed for the season on our last day at 12:00, sadly this combined with the drones did spoil the last two days for us.
