"I booked my stay at this hotel through Expedia. When I checked in I was told that I hadn’t prepaid through Expedia. Because I was tired after a long day, I paid as requested by the hotel . Through Expedia I requested this double payment to be returned. Over a week later I’m still waiting."

"Spotlessly clean room, staff very friendly and willing to help - recognised I need to use 2 sticks & immediately helped me with luggage. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast next door at Cocketts. Good banter at bar with landlord first evening. Slight downsides - old furniture, poorly fitting drawers, no wardrobe (though I didn't need one)"

"We stayed at the Kings Head last weekend and had a lovely time. The pub itself is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, it is cosy and inviting and located in a lovely spot by the stream.Although the actual car park itself was small this was no problem as we parked literally a couple of minutes away on the lane, perfect as it allowed the opportunity to see a tiny red squirrel busy in a nearby tree. There were limitations on what we could have both on the food and drink side due to delivery issues. My and I were are aware that there was music being played when we went to bed, but I did not really interfere with us getting to sleep. Eat plugs were provided which my wife used.
