"We only stayed 3 nights but our stay was just perfect. Its a beautiful spot and only a short taxi trip to most places. It is getting renovated, but the essentials are still open- pool which most of the time we had to ourselves. Restaurant with beautiful views and great breakfast serve - the thursday chef buffet is definitely recommended. "I liked how peaceful and quiet it was. I could hear the ocean and the breeze was lovely. It was a little older but seemed updated and so was more roomie than the cookie cutter hotel rooms. There was a kitchen and couch and table and it was well furnished. Nice people too. You could walk to a few different restaurants. Including a wood fired pizza place on the oceans edge. Wonderful vibe"

"The resort is absolutely beautiful with stunning water views on the bay, beautifully maintained tropical gardens, and cute tropical "fare" bungalows. You have the choice of swimming in the pristine sea or in the lovely swimming pool. The staff is so dedicated to helping you have the best stay and the manager is very helpful. We'll come back. "

"Absolutely stunning jungle/ river property, lush and green. The large house is very spacious. It was comfortable in the July weather. Plenty of room and beds for our family of 6. Property is off grid so some issues with hot water that were rectified. We’re told we would have daily house keeping, which didn’t happen once, but we were ok with the washing machine. If we had asked, I’m sure it would have been provided. Accessing the tours and using the river was a highlight for our family. - no fly...

"We stayed 6 nights in a garden bungalow! It was amazing, the photos on various sites are legit 3 pools, pool bar, lagoon access. Staff are super friendly and helpful Small tip, due to earthquakes the roads around the property are in poor condition, so when doing day trips better to leave early due to traffic and slow driving "

"I loved the spacious apartment and the private balconies, the aircon and the TV worked well. The chef at casa Mia was good. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. There was no fresh milk in the fridge for a cup of tea but when I asked for some it was brought to me by a young man who went to some trouble to get it. "
