Understanding they are still getting back to where they were before with staff was expected, but a few things were miscommunicated or not communicated. We were not told the island view was closing or we would have made it up on our trip before it closed for renovations because we loved it prior to Ian. "Hotel and room were very clean! Great location, safe, property well cared for and welcoming staff..the rooms had everything you would need and perfect views of the beach.. nice breakfast every morning and a great little coffee bar 24/7 was a plus.. keep in mind chairs and beach umbrellas are provided for a daily fee. Beach chairs do need some updating. Would stay again."

"Close to the beach, food was good at the tiki bar. Doing a little remodeling that was really no big deal. Had a room close to the bar. I'm a late night person but if you're not be prepared to hear the music until about 2 a.m. The desk attendant at check-in was awesome. I think his name was Cory or Coby but very polite and helpful. Overall I would return and stay again."
