Gilles was a perfect host with excellent communication, wonderful breakfast with lovely apple juice made from the apples grown in the wonderful gardens. Comfy bed, nice shower with a kettle on the room, all you need for an overnight stop. The house and gardens were stunning."

"Stopped the night on way to Calais ferry. Unfortunately that night only one bar in walking distance was serving food and they were full. So we had drive to find an eatery. Wont be stopping in Ardres again."

Had to use the emergency contact no, and a member of staff came out to help. After failing to get it to work she opened reception and checked us in manually. "A beautiful hotel inside and out. We had a family room with the pull out sofa which turned into 2 single beds for the children. It was spacious and comfortable with lovely finishing touches. The welcome gift (games) for the children was a nice surprise. Really modern and eco friendly. "
