"It must be frustrating for hotel proprietors/owners when people leave bad reviews considering this a budget property.Good points,24 hr reception and free car park.Basic but ridiculously cheap breakfast.Adequate size room for one overnight stay.Warm room and everything was clean.The gentleman on reception in the evening was incredibly polite and the delightful lady in the morning was a credit to the hotel."

"Stopped the night on way to Calais ferry. Unfortunately that night only one bar in walking distance was serving food and they were full. So we had drive to find an eatery. Wont be stopping in Ardres again."

The rural location is just a small detour away from the busy motorways making it an ideal location for a stopover near the calais crossings. "A beautiful hotel inside and out. We had a family room with the pull out sofa which turned into 2 single beds for the children. It was spacious and comfortable with lovely finishing touches. The welcome gift (games) for the children was a nice surprise. Really modern and eco friendly. "
