"Charming! We've stayed in Ventura several times and were looking for something different ... this place did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and hospitable. The room was CLEAN! "It was very stay. I got the sunset view. There was a renovation going on, but the staff did let me know ahead of time, so I was ok with it.. the only thing is the noise from the construction was alittle loud and alittle early lol. But it was a nice hotel. "

"This was my third time staying at Waypoint. If Waypoint is an option, I will always take it. "The staff was welcoming and checkin was fast and easy. We loved our room on the 2nd floor on the beach side of the hotel. Our window opened and we had a small ocean/pier view with fresh air. The bed was comfortable. We had a fridge but no microwave. It’s very convenient to walk to the pier, beaches and restaurants…also downtown Main Street for shopping, sightseeing at the San Buenaventura Mission and more. The morning hot breakfast was good as well."

"The room was clean, and new towels were provided on our second day without asking. You could hear the street noise from the room, but I actually enjoy the hum so I slept great. Very comfy bed and pillows, FANTASTIC water pressure - it was like getting a massage which rocked after a long day of hiking on Channel Islands."
