"Wonderful stay, the shepherds hut was lovely and had everything you needed. Staff were lovely and the food was amazing. We really enjoyed our night away and will return in the autumn for a longer stay. Thank you"

"Lovely location and tranquil setting. However our stay did not include breakfast and at £13 each we gave it a miss. Plenty of parking outside, although there were very few staff around, we had to call the hotel to get someone at reception."

"There isn't anything I liked . The hotel was awful, staff unhelpful even after we complained. The manger was useless and unhelpful. The shower was broken bed side cabinet was also broken . Draw stuck out the side of bed . It would not close . I kept catching my leg on it . The headboard was dirty . The stairs was very steep. Not the best hotel. won't stay again . Meals was awful . "My stay was lovely and peaceful, after my working day had finished. (It was not a holiday break) unfortunately. The surroundings were fantastic, I felt really chilled after work. Would definitely stay again."

"The room was ideal for what I needed and was a lot warmer than first looked, with it being in the outbuildings I thought it would be freezing but it was sound. The breakfast was decent enough and overall the stay represented excellent value for money. It’s probably a lot more lively in the summer as the pub/restaurant was empty the night I was there which felt a bit strange. I would stay again if in the area with work."

"The room was clean but a little sparse, and badly organised. The TV is on the dresser, for example. But overall the bed was comfy, the shower had good water pressure and the staff were lovely. Best English Breakfast I've had in a long long time. Worth going back just for that. "
