Immaculate, beautiful guesthouse with plenty of space and modern well maintained facilities. The host that greeted us was very nice, kind and helpful. Shower and beds were amazing. Breakfast was delicious as well. Wonderful location off the ring road. Would most definitely stay here again.

The staff was the best, even in a high stress situation with road closures bringing an unexpected full booking. They have a common area with tables and board games, including Catan, to hang out outside your room. Room was spacious for Icelandic standards. Rooms were clean and modern.

Amazing clean and modern. Beautiful scenery. The price cant be beat. Iceland isnt as expensive as everyone says. The gasoline is, otherwise other stuff isnt so out of bounds.

We stopped here for a night stay. I do agree it looks better on the inside than the outside! The front desk staff were really sweet and provided us with advice on seeing the northern lights! This was day 5 of 10 on Iceland ring road. That night we were able to see the northern lights it was amazing! The room was cozy, very clean and had everything you needed for a good nights sleep. The beds very comfortable and plenty of space in the room. Breakfast is not included, about $18 USD per person. There aren’t a lot of options near the hotel to eat so we decided to eat breakfast there. The pancakes were delicious and it also included typical Icelandic breakfast. I would definitely stay here again!

Check out time difference when we booked.
Check out time when I booking is 11Am. But front desk lady tell me 10 Am. Too early. Window curtain see through. Hard time to sleep.

Oh dear. I am truly sorry for this mistake made by a new employee. Our checkout time truly is at 11. We also have blinds in the windows but sometimes they are all the way up and donðt get noticed and for that I'm sorry. I have instructed my staff to leave them more noticeable and we appreciate your constructive review for us to better ourselves.

The hotel staff are very nice people! They even made us egg sandwiches/breakfast to go because we didn’t made it through breakfast hour. Very strategic location to explore the majestic Studlagil Canyon!

Sebbene la camera sia abbastanza pulita è priva di ogni comfort. La vista sulla casa della proprietaria con i panni stesi e che tiene la musica a tutto volume, non è stata certamente un’esperienza positiva. Ma questo è il meno, confronto alla colazione pessima, con alcune fette di prosciutto e formaggio lasciati in frigo, che ti dovevi aprire, prendere con le mani le fette di pane che erano così pressate e contate di numero. Non un tovagliolo, e nessuna preparazione della colazione da parte sua. Non lo definirei neppure una giesthouse, non abbiamo potuto cenare, per fortuna che avevamo dietro alcune cose, perché lì intorno non c’era assolutamente nulla. Il peggiore hotel di tutto il nostro viaggio in Islanda, in cui non tornerei neppure gratuitamente ed è grave che costi 150€ a notte. Il suo prezzo dovrebbe essere 89€ porporzionalmente a ciò che offre. Il mio giudizio non è di una turista ma di una operatrice del settore che ha lavorato 18 anni come accompagnatrice turistica ed ha dormito in migliaia di hotel. Non vi consiglio questa struttura, non vale ciò che pagate. Consiglia ad Expedia di rivalutare il prezzo di vendita, di questa struttura, non è consono ai suoi standard.

Dear Monica. I am extremely sorry for your experience and I highly appreciate your input for us to better ourselves. We are new to this so we are still figuring out what works and what doesn't. It is true we experimented with self service breakfast and now I have the insight from a guest about it. I think we will reconsider that. I'm sorry about my laundry, I don't think I can stop doing that. I appreciate your review and since your experience was of such I have fully reimbursed your stay. I am extremely sorry for this and hope you did have a good vacation.

Nær Studlagil canyon
Koselig hotell i nærheten av Studlagil canyon. Vertskapet var veldig hyggelige og imøtekommende. Rommene var nyrenovert, rene og fine.
