"Fantastic stay. Fire alarm went off early and a neighbour banged on our door like a nutter and accused us of setting the alarm off. We were all asleep at the time. Firemen told us somebody burnt their toast in a building next door. "

The hotel is within walking distance of shopping areas and eateries. The river is not far as well as the botanical gardens. Loved on site parking as we did not need our vehicle while staying. "Great Hotel Right in the heart of Christchurch! The rooms are very modern and have everything you need. In addition to that, the rooms also have blinds, which really helps you to get a good night’s sleep. If you are an IHG member (free reward programme), you are eligible for a complimentary 2 p.m. late check-out, which was great as our flight was at 8 p.m., so we could stay in the hotel a bit longer. I would highly recommend this hotel!"

Check in was a bit strange as it was through intercom where we given our passcode which was new to us but fun (watching so many Korean dramas and seeing their door locks with passcodes and finally getting to use one was awesome lol)."
