The property itself was beautiful and extremely well located, within walking distance to everything we wanted to see in Edinburgh. "Location, Location, Location. We were about half way up the Royal Mile. Everything we wanted to do in Edinburgh was walkable from the hotel or close to the tram. Be clear to read everything about the hotel. There was not daily room service and cleaning but towels and everything we needed were readily available during our stay. The hotel was clean and we loved having a small kitchen and plates and dishware so that we could eat breakfast in our room. Bed was a large queen and comfortable. Location was superb."

"The balcony with castle views is 100% worth upgrade. Only about 10-15 rooms seemingly have the view with a balcony. Staff was great. Hotel was clean. The water bottle refill station was huge. Great stay 10/10"
