"Although overall it was a nice stay, I do have a couple of concerns. I noticed mold growing inside the juice machine at breakfast. While the staff member immediately cleaned it when it was brought to her attention, it made me question how frequently the machine is being properly cleaned and maintained. Additionally, the pool area offers very little privacy. It feels as though you’re swimming right in the middle of the parking lot, which takes away from the overall experience. Other than these issues, our stay was pleasant, but I believe these areas could use improvement."

"The room is actually a suite with living room like sitting area and separate TV. Excellent hotel. Will only stay there when I go to San Antonio. The only con was their restaurant but, there are lots of other places to eat on the Riverwalk. I used their valet parking but there is a public garage on West Market Street across from the Contessa."
