"Our room had very poor sound insulation. The room we stayed in was located above the McGee Creek Store. Every morning just before 8 we were woken up by the alarm as the store opened. Then every time someone walked in the store the door would close with a loud bang and the floor in our room shook. The laundry room was right next to our room. Every morning during the holiday weekend at 7 am the washer and dryer were turned on."

"The hotel did not have power when we checked in, which was not their fault. However, when checking in, they said that I could cancel my reservation due to this. They instructed me to contact Expedia, who would then reach back out to the hotel for a refund. Apparently, they declined the refund when Expedia reached out to them."

"Room was a bit smaller but very cozy. Staff was excellent and very helpful. Property was clean and staff invited us to a campfire that evening. Very peaceful and relaxing. First time staying there but plan on going back."
