"Alfheimer is a gem on the east coast. We decided to stay another night. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Accommodations were perfect with a comfortable bed and great tasting food. The locally brewed beer is delicious as well. All around a wonderful experience. Should we ever come back to Iceland we will be back here. "

"Fabulous restaurant and included breakfast, best meals we've had in Iceland so far, beautiful kitchen and bathrooms in guest house, comfy beds, friendly competent staff. Guesthouse room was quite hot for sleeping though."

"Newly renovated room with modern finishes. Good view of the lake. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom and the little extra touch of makeup remover wipes. Breakfast was a wide spread of different options and delicious."

"Invited upon checkin to see the Museum regarding French fishing history housed in the building..was excellent! Room facing the fjord had small deck with chairs, was lovely to have a chance to sit right by water. Bed, bathroom, all excellent. Parking very near door. Did not have breakfast, price seemed high. Front desk not manned it a.m., supposed to find staff in dining area in another building to give key, no one there, finally knocked on back door to be able to hand key over. No problem really tho. A very nice place to spend our evening."
