Communication with the manager is quick and convenient, mostly through email. There's an onsite caretaker that we saw in the mornings. I highly recommend it for an affordable stay."

On the negative then someone else parked selfishly in the carpark making it extremely precarious to get out - should have been stopped and was charged at dinner for something i didn't have - only noticed today "

"We found a little gem!!! Spotlessly clean, modern and spacious rooms with period features, which have been extremely well thought out by Jo and Steve during their renovations at this lovely old property. The beds were very comfortable, with brilliant white bedding, the towels were also brilliant white and very fluffy and the shower was great after a long, hot day at Alton Towers (and a few drinks at the local pub, which is a very short walk away!) The breakfast, cooked by Steve, was excellent....
